COVID-19 + Returning to Netball

ASC and ANA Guidelines for 2021 Summer Season – COVID-19 are not known at this time.
Here are some examples of the important issues for you to consider based on the guidelines issued recently.

Team Guidelines

Each player may have 1 adult/responsible person only attend the game.

Each team may have 1 coach and 1 scorer attend each game.

Maks to be worn by everyone over 12 years old, Masks can be removed by players prior to entering the court
-
No High Fives/hand shaking upon the conclusion of the match.

No one should attend if they have flu or cold like symptoms
-
Teams are required to move as a group to your designated court quickly to ensure games begin on time.

Coach must be seated at all times.
-
All spectators must sit 1.5 metres apart.
-
Interchange player must sit in the designated bench area.
-
Scoresheets will be placed on the score bench prior to the game.
-
Two scorers must maintain a 1.5 Metre distance.

All teams must bring their own match ball - first named team will start with their ball.
Entry/Exit Procedure

Entry to the building will be via new car park at the back of the stadium – please follow all directions

All parents and players must use QR code on entry
-
All members of the team must check in together – via marked entry door – no late entries will be allowed. Doors will be locked 5 minutes after game start time.

Any person not on the team list will be refused entry.

All members of the teams must leave as a group, via marked exit door, immediately following the match to allow cleaning of the area. Exit doors are in the hallway outside Court 2 – the path leads back to the car park

Hand sanitising stations are located throughout the stadium and outside – all easily accessible and signposted.
Games on the Outside Courts

No entry to indoor stadium.

Teams will need to present as a group with a completed list of all players/parents-responsible adults/scorer/coach before entering the area.

Must leave as a group immediately after the game to allow staff to clean before the next game.

Coach must be seated at all times.
-
All spectators must sit/stand 1.5 metres apart.

Interchange player must sit in the designated bench area.

Canteen/Toilets

No canteen facilities are available therefore make sure you bring your own drink as none will be available.

Toilets are open but please keep use to a minimum
Netball Office/Umpires
-
Only one member of the public may enter the Netball office at a time.
-
Entry and exit to the office will be clearly marked.
-
Please wait outside - 1.5 metres apart until the person before you has left.
-
No entry to the office for nail cutting or filling of drink bottles will be allowed
-
Umpires will have access to the Netball Room to store their belongings.

Club umpires will still be necessary for the late timeslots - times will be advised once our fixtures are completed
Everyone MUST follow these instructions – the COVID-19 delegated staff will remove anyone who does not adhere to any part of the conditions.
We encourage all members to download the COVIDSafe app if they have not done this already.
